Synopsis
Angleterre, 1665, la chasse aux sorcières et la Grande Peste font rage en Europe. Une jeune veuve, Evelyn Haverstock, est hantée par le suicide récent de son mari, Jospeh. Après avoir refusé les avances de Pendleton, le notable du comté, celui-ci, fou de rage et de jalousie, l'accuse d'être une sorcière.
